2020 Siegerrebe

Our 2020 Siegerrebe is a prime example of the delicate and aromatic wines that can be grown in the Fraser Valley. Perfumed nose of lychee, rose petal, melons and citrus fruit. On the pallet flavors of apples, honeydew, lychee and rose. Fermented dry with just a touch of residual sugar to balance the wine.

Our vineyard was harvested September 24th, 2020 and grapes were brought to the winery to be whole cluster pressed. Juice was settled overnight prior to racking off lees, for a cool fermentation in stainless tanks at 13C. Selected aromatic yeast (58W3) was used to express the beautiful aromas of this wine, and fermentation was arrested with a touch or residual sugar. Aged for 6 months in tanks before filtration and bottling.
