Our Estate Vineyard
Our Vineyard
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to farm our vineyard as sustainably as possible every year, working with what mother nature gives us. While the short growing season and humid climate of the Fraser Valley presents its challenges, we are committed to farming as responsibly as possible. We are 100% dry farmed, relying only on the natural rainfall of the Fraser Valley, and we refrain from using herbicides to kill natural grasses and weeds that grow in our vineyard. We spray for mildew protection using largely organic products, with only an occasional conventional fungicide to keep our grapes healthy and clean every year.
“Our vineyard is only a small part of our farm’s natural surrounding. We are home to a diverse variety of plants and animals, including our horses, Bald Eagles that protect our grapes from other birds, coyotes, rabbits and of course “Leo” the German Shepard who keeps everything in check. ”
— Mike Anderson, Vineyard Manager
